Despite steady rain, spirits soared as Shriners Children’s participated in the 2026 Rose Parade, earning the coveted Showmanship Award. Our float, Building Dreams Together , brought to life a charming forest scene of animals working side by side to build a treehouse that symbolized teamwork and hope. Hundreds of volunteers, including Shriners and their families from near and far, helped decorate the float. Float riders included Imperial Potentate Brad Koehn and First Lady Cheryl, International Patient Ambassadors Brandon and Carlota, and other Shriners leadership. The celebration concluded with From Flowers to Football, where Carlota tossed the ceremonial football into the Rose Bowl stadium to signify the transition from the parade to the football game.
